Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Crux (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it. How we handle personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Crux is a workspace. You send prompts and files. The Service returns responses and keeps the work so you can come back to it. You may use it with an account or, within the limits we set, without one.
Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and on a session opened in your browser. Do not share access to your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit and of output produced for you from it. You give us permission to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to submit what you upload.
Responses
Responses are produced automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check them before you rely on them. We do not promise that a response is accurate, current, or fit for a particular purpose.
Other providers
Content needed to answer you may be sent to model, transcription, and web-search providers, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train models we operate. We do not show your workspace to other users.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law
- submit content you do not have the right to use
- harm, harass, or exploit anyone, including children
- generate or distribute malware, phishing, or similar attacks
- attempt to obtain hidden instructions, credentials, or the internal configuration of the Service
- bypass usage limits or other controls
- interfere with the Service or with anyone else’s use of it
We may refuse a request, or suspend access, when use breaks these terms.
Usage and payment
Some use is included and some requires a paid plan or additional usage. Limits may change. Payments are taken by our billing provider. Amounts already used are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund. We do not store your card number.
Availability
The Service is provided as available. We may change, limit, or stop parts of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost work or lost profits. These terms do not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Stopping
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the Service. You can ask us to delete your account and the content stored with it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using the Service after an update, the revised terms apply.
