The free trial

New Crux accounts start with a 7-day free trial of Pro features. No credit card is required to start.

What the trial includes

During the trial your personal workspace behaves like Pro:

• Full export formats (PNG, PDF, CSV, JSON) at high resolution.
• Snapshots and custom workflows.
• Google Drive import.
• A Pro-sized AI credit grant for the trial period.

When the trial ends

Your account moves to the Free plan automatically — nothing is deleted:

• All projects, uploads, highlights, and canvas content remain intact and editable.
• Paid-gated features (PDF/CSV/JSON export, snapshots, custom workflows, Drive import) become unavailable until you upgrade.
• Unused trial credits don't carry over; the Free plan's allowance applies.

Upgrading

Upgrade at any time — during or after the trial — from the plans page. Individual work continues on Pro; teams should look at the organisation plans (see Teams & organisations).
