Search across your project
One search box over nodes, table rows, file contents, highlights, and todos — semantic and keyword combined.
Open Search from the sidebar rail. One query covers everything in the project.
What gets searched
- Canvas nodes — titles, content, and rich-text bodies.
- Rows inside nodes — individual table rows, journey rows, and page-map blocks are indexed separately, so a match jumps you to the exact row.
- Uploaded files — the parsed content of every document, by chunk.
- Highlights — excerpts and their tags.
- Todos — titles and content.
- Workflows — saved workflow names.
How matching works
Crux combines two strategies:
- Semantic (vector) search — your query is embedded and compared against indexed content, so "onboarding friction" finds passages about "sign-up drop-off" even without shared words.
- Keyword matching — exact and partial matches are boosted so precise lookups behave predictably.
Results show a snippet, the source type, and where it lives; selecting a result navigates to it.
Search as AI infrastructure
The same index powers grounded Q&A and skill context: when you use Ask mode, Crux runs this search behind the scenes to find the evidence for its answer. Keeping content in Crux (rather than screenshots or external links only) is what makes both search and AI answers strong.
